Wellness & Prevention

We believe that a holistic approach to caring for your pet, through regular wellness checks and a preventative medical approach, is the best way to keep your furry friend happy and healthy. Our annual visits consist of a comprehensive physical exam, internal parasite testing, active / ongoing heartworm and flea control, regular and necessary vaccinations, and specialized blood and urine tests for all life stages. All of our fecal studies are performed by our staff, in-house, so that you can accurate and immediate results. We do have the ability to run in-house bloodwork for critical patients, however, we elect to send our routine lab work to our extension lab for more comprehensive panel results.

Emergency Care

In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is backed up by our resuscitation unit, stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, and Circulation / Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center for after-hours issues that arise.

Internal Medicine


We cover basic internal medicine but also consult with and refer clients to board-certified specialists including Cardiologists, Ophthalmologists, Neurologists, Dermatologists, Orthopedists, Gastroenterologists, Oncologists, Endocrinologists, etc.

Digital Radiology


Radiology, also known as x-rays, help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems for potential issues. We have digital xrays which allow us to image your pet quickly and safely, and to provide high quality images for consultation and referral to specialists.

Microchipping


Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery, should your pet become lost or separate from your family.

Pain Management


Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care, which is why we work with you to keep your pet free of pain, regardless of the ailment or issue.

Theriogenology


This is the branch of veterinary medicine concerned with reproduction, including the physiology and pathology of male and female reproductive systems and the clinical practice of veterinary obstetrics, gynecology, and andrology. Theriogenologists are veterinarians with advanced training in animal reproduction and obstetrics, something we take great pride in providing consultation on.

Euthanasia Services


Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet’s comfort and dignity during their last moments. We can also take care of your pet’s remains, as directed by you and your family. We work with our existing patients to make sure all feasible avenues have been exhausted before we seek euthanasia services. When appropriate and necessary, we will discuss this option with you. If we haven’t seen your pet for its current ailment, or you are not an established client, we will not perform euthanasia without an exam and consultation.

Ultrasound


This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs for obstructions, blockages, tears and damage to such organs. Ultrasound services for pregnancy confirmation, pregnancy issues and the like are also available. We also utilize a local ultrasound specialist to perform the highest level of ultrasound imaging for difficult or challenging cases.

Behavioral Medicine

Illness doesn’t always have a physical cause. Our veterinarians have training in animal behavior and can help determine the cause of such disorders, like separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the patient.
